Ryan is a high-school graduate from Middlebury, Indiana, attended the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture at Glen Cove, New York, and is now an engineer in Virginia. He first experimented with game design at the age of ten. The first concepts for Warriors were created in 1992, and within a year, fifty homemade prototype cards entered casual playtesting among Ryan's friends. Warriors was instantly popular among all the early playtesters. As the years past, Ryan continued to expand the card list, and evaluated the game rules as development progressed. Warriors today represents 14 years of casual developmnt. Today Warriors has over 350 cards, and is awaiting a chance for production. Any offer to mass produce and market Warriors would be openly welcomed.
"I think Warriors stands a chance against other card games. It has proven itself time and again. I would like to see the game enter production, so that others could enjoy the game." ---Ryan Hackel
